In my interview with YFN Lucci what stood out most was his accountability. Why is Wallo talking abt “you still addicted…” the way he keeps talking abt it…like all of sudden he’s cured now…bruh when you go into Rice St they got detox protocol so it’s not like he was in there just going through withdrawals w/no type of assistance. That man had pill call 3 times a day and everything he needed to detox off them percs, roxies and lean. They’re just opioids. I get a legal script for roxies and been to Rice St 3 times in the past 3 years and each time I had to detox off of them there. They gave me care no diff than anyone else coming in there off of opioids or opiates…it wasn’t hard at all. But when you get home you’re not cured. He’s still addicted but hopefully he’s home and not over indulging to where he’s stuck on them like before
Wallo, this interview was so generic, cliche and just all around so bootleg. Despite your attempt at trying to keep it authentic and “real”, it fell short on so many levels. I felt zero passion and connection to any of what was shared. The loaded questions with the obvious answers to the weird over emphasis of his prescription drug use was so corny to me. For someone who grew up in the ghetto and no stranger to that lifestyle, you came off like some square ass, green bean the way you asked the questions. In all honesty, you’re a terrible interviewer and MWG as well as this spin off seem to be showing cracks. For this to be a highly anticipated interview/conversation with Lucci, you did an embarrassing job at it. I’m so disappointed in how it turned out. You tried so hard to force these so called “messages” to the youth, that stole the natural flow of dialogue. The entire thing was cringeworthy and I couldn’t wait for it to be over with quite a few times. Even in the end, you were so caught up in trying to glaze Lucci that you didn’t even allow him to complete his attempt at thanking you in the closing. Ngl, Wallo, you’ve always been super corny but bc you have good intentions, I’ve given you my ear and eyes as far as attention…but since the money, it seems like you’re more concerned with trying to get the bag and deliver content more than actually make a difference out here with these dudes. I wish Lucci would have given this interview to a better platform. It’s Up There would have done a much better job with this sit down IMO. Just keeping it all the way 1000 with ya holm.
