After finding success with Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Krayzie Bone recorded his solo debut, Thug Mentality 1999, in 1999. The album was released as a double disc set, featuring a large selection of guest appearances, including Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Mo Thugs, Mariah Carey, ThugLine, The Marley Brothers, Big Pun, Fat Joe, Cuban Link, Gangsta Boo, E-40, 8 Ball & MJG, Kurupt, Naughty By Nature and Snoop Dogg. The album was largely produced by multi instrumentalist Romeo Antonio and was certified platinum by the RIAA.
In 2001, Krayzie Bone released Thug On Da Line, which received generally positive reviews from music critics and went gold.
In 2005 Krayzie Bone was featured in the song “Ridin'” by Chamillionaire. “Ridin'” was awarded “Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group” at the 49th Annual Grammy Awards. It was also nominated for Best Rap Song. It became number one in December on the Pop Chart 3 months after its physical release. The song also topped the Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at number 2 on the UK Singles Chart when it was released there. The song ranked #3 on Rolling Stone’s “100 Best Songs of 2006” and #91 on VH1’s “100 Greatest Songs of Hip Hop”. It was the best selling ringtone in 2006, with 3.2 million sales, certified by the RIAA as the first multi-platinum Mastertone artist in history. It was also awarded the last Best Rap Video at the MTV Video Music Awards, which was awarded in 2006.
Krayzie Bone comes from a fourth generation family of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and as such does not celebrate Christmas. He believes many rappers are unintentionally following the agenda of the Illuminati.[9]
On September 24, 2023, Krayzie Bone was admitted to a hospital in Los Angeles after coughing up blood in his sleep, what was later attributed to sarcoidosis. Doctors were unsuccessful in an emergency surgery. On September 26, he was sedated due to a main artery in his lung leaking. However, on October 3, he announced he had recovered from the ailment.
Krayzie Bone also has a thriving foundation called “Spread The Love” that mentors and teaches at risk youth life skills and about the music business.

Regarding fentanyl and all of the different reports that were coming out on a regular basis that stated fentanyl was being found in weed, in cocaine, in meth, & etc, 👁️ have recently learned that the reason fentanyl was being found in basically all of thee other drugs is/was not because dealers were lacing thee other drugs, like many people were speculating, but apparently fentanyl has thee ability to transfer thru the plastic bags it is stored in! So that said if a big ziplock bag full of fetty is thrown into a bigger bag that has bags of meth, weed, cocaine, & etc, inside of it, all of those bags are going to have fentanyl inside of them…..
Thats Strike 2 for Kray. He need to release music and stop playing. Bone fans be begging for unreleased content
We need Thug Mentality. Stop playing Kray

Every one got to get old even a baby so when somebody call me old I tell them keep living don’t die yet life can be short blessings to Krayzie Bone

Why did Krayzie look like “Time to keep an eye on you. Stalking my house😅”
Why did Krayzie look like “Time to keep an eye on you. Stalking my house😅” 1:08:57 😊
Krayzie did best spiritual album in rap and it could compare with "Rainbow children" from Prince. Bushwick Bill did one great, maybe few others. But Krayze specifically did album for people who are split in both realms.. street and soul and he definitely choose soul / religion and that elevates him to G.O.A.T. level
Need that thug mentality 1999 on streaming. One of my favorite albums of all time.

Man I’m glad he made it thru that 🙏🏻
I’m glad Court is a big Bone fan because interviews when the interviewer is an actual fan of the person they are interviewing are always better. You don’t ask the same boring questions that we’ve already heard, you ask stuff fans actually want to hear about. And then with Court and Bone or some of the other artists he’s interviewed, he’s knows enough about them to ask about some of the more obscure, under the surface questions.
Living in Miami, FL, I was exposed to multiple genres of music.
These cats from CLE always hold the top spot of my fav music. TIL this day, BTNH will forever be my favorite group. And individually they still killing it! Love the interview. Love the podcast.! 🔥 🙏🏽

Kray is real. One of the greatest 💯
Just randomly came across this interview the other day! I've always been a huge BTNH fan since the late 90's into the 2000's growing up and going to school. I have almost all of their albums and most of their solo albums, their music got me through a lot whether it was a tough time mentally, or just killing a workout! Glad to see Krayzie is in a good place health wise and spiritually. Thanks for all the memories!
Damn man now this is a real interview. Great questions Court.
Dang took me a second to put it together but when you said former rapper I wanted to clown and say sure dude everyone says that. But when I saw the word Court I was like wait is that Court Dog?! As a Bone fanatic you better believe I was a big Court Dog fan. You were legit talented and I always wished you did more music with Bone. I have a new phone and for the last few weeks I only had a small amount of music downloaded on it to listen to at work. No joke the song Gladiator Born to D.. is one of them. Phenomenal song.
Praise Our Lord Jesus Christ
