#Kwamé pulls up to #DrinkChamps and gets real about everything. He breaks down that whole #Biggie polka dot situation and how they almost threw hands at the club. He tells the wild story about his grandfather helping #MalcolmX’s family after the firebombing. We get into his crazy transition from rapper to mega producer, working with #LLCoolJ and #MaryJBlige. Kwamé drops knowledge about why artists shouldn’t take publishing deals and shares stories from the road with NWA, Too Short, and Poison Clan. Watch!

There is no place in the world that produced more hip hop stars. Queens got it, and I'm from Brooklyn.
I think this is my favorite Drink Champs so far.
Hip-Hop!
Yo why I thought that little box was a perm box with Nore on it lol man who approved that was mad funny 😂😂😂😂
That principle story hit home. Funny thing is I went to Graphic Arts on 50th. I remember being a junior and busting some moves that brought negative attention. My principal and guidance counselor advised me to drop out and get my GED. Still baffles me to this day. Salute to Kwame and DC for another great interview.
Kwame is that dude for me. He was such an influence on me during my younger days. I am glad he is still doing what he love doing. God bless my dude !!
I mentioned Coach Carter I ended up meeting him and Waco Texas on my way to a club he was talking with some black businessmen here it was cool.. RIP Coach
Salute to Kwame…..definitely a legend
BANGER
This is a man who has his thoughts together. Salute to Kwame the legend.
It would be dope if Pharrell connects with Kwame with his LV line…Why yall didn't give him his flowers like everyone else gets???
Great interview guys!!!!
Did he jus make fun of younger rappers for having there mom go to the studio then tell a story about his mom coming to the studio for him to get his money 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Kwame is talking to his people but ain't nobody listening.
In response to the beginning stages when the south wasn't getting respected in hip-hop, I believe it was partly because the artists were still more fresh off the streets for real, or still half way in them. And representing and being proud of where you were from was more ingrained and confrontational, many still have that energy but it's just different. 🖤🖤 Drink Champs 🖤🖤Kwame 💯💯
Excellent interview 🔥🔥🔥🔥
How this interview completely skip how did dude start off from the very beginning like how did he meet Hurby
Word🎉🎉🎉Get Slick Rick🎉🎉🎉

Is Kwame the first rapper/producer? I think so. This guy hand us in Jr high and High School going up! What a legend!
😂why does N.o.r.e look like Tevin Campbell on that box of hair products 🤣
